What is the best way to earn an extra $1000-1500 per month on the side without much effort?

I should mention that when I say "without much effort" I mean time and financial investment because I have very little of both.

Unfortunately that sort of cash will not be available to me for a few years. I am vested in a couple of viable upstarts (hopefully...) and can't cash out until then which I probably would not do immediately unless they do some sort of IPO or get bought out.

Between the malls and the buildings downtown (in my city) you might get $1000, but I don't know what you would do the following month.

Clinical trials. The university I go to has clinical trials where you are basically given a generic version of a drug one weekend and the actual drug on the market the following weekend. You have to be clean and willing to give blood (not any amount more than what most people donate usually). Usually they pay between 1000-1500. By the way the whole point of these clinical trials is to put a generic version of that drug on the market which is a lot cheaper than the brand name drug.

Honestly I wouldn't call that easy. It takes a good bit of work to get started and you can get undercut at any time. It's totally doable, but you definitely have to work at it.
